Tissue harm - also known as pressure sores and tissue damage - has been happening since Egyptian times.  

As nurses we have seen the pain and suffering this causes, especially when patients are confined to bed due to illness or injury. Seeing the time and cost it takes to treat the effects of tissue harm, we decided to find a way to prevent it. 

Using practice-based evidence and research with eminent wound biologists we have developed the Biotechsis^® inbed care system which comprises of a Mattress Cover, Bed Sheets, Pillows, Incontinence Pads and Patient Turning Aids. 

Each part is designed to work together synergetically whilst providing patient comfort thanks to the unique Biotechsis^® fabric. 

Through its design, the carer(s) find it easy and intuitive to use without the stresses and strain usually associated with the care of patients confined to bed.
